Engineering Benefit Report: Metagri biogas plant
Mobil Pegasus™ 605 Ultra 40 gas engine oil helped to double oil drain intervals, reduce engine stops and cut maintenance costs at Metagri biogas plant in Italy1. The findings were the result of an optimum drain interval study conducted on the plant’s MWM TCG 2020 V12 engine by ExxonMobil and Arka Lube.
The high performance lubricant helped to deliver:
- €3,840 revenue improvement
- 8 hour reduction in human intervention
- Amount of waste lube generated for disposal reduced by 1,300 litres
